Description
This 16mm 40khz transducers are open type ultrasonic sensor. They are not water-proof. So we usually use them in the air medium. It has three types, namely transceiver, transmitter and receiver. The diameter is 16mm and height is 12mm. Its sound pressure level is high and more than 115dB.
Available shell material is silver aluminum and black ABS plastic. In addition, there is also the black anodized aluminum housing. If 16mm 40khz ultrasonic transmitter, the measuring range is 1200cm. The sensor can withstand high and low temperature. Besides, direction detection angle is large. You can apply it for ultrasonic ranging, robot obstacle avoidance, etc.
