Description
23KHz transducer is an uncommon type of ultrasonic sensor. We know that 20khz and 40khz are the common frequencies. There is the “23T” symbolic marking on the top of shell. This ultrasonic transducer is transmitter (TX). The outer diameter is 16mm and height is 12mm. It has large directivity angle ~ about 90°.
16mm 23khz transducer has the detection range of 1300cm. Its ranging distance is a bit longer than 40khz sensor. The static capacitance is about 2400pF. The application is similar to 25khz ultrasonic transducer. For example, we can use it for dog repellent & anti-barking, insect repellent and rodent repellent. Or you can use it as a shield against interference.
