Ultrasonic sensors are common in everyday life. When we talk about it, the first thing that comes to mind is the ardunio smart car. Usually, it comes with an ultrasonic sensor module, namely hc sr04. It is the key to the robot's obstacle avoiding. This sensor module price is usually low.

(1) HC SR04 Module


The core of the HC-SR04 module are two ultrasonic sensors. One acts as a transmitter. It converts electrical signals into 40 KHz ultrasonic pulses. The receiver listens for the transmitted pulses. If they are received, it generates an output pulse. Its width can determine how far the pulse travels.

This ultrasonic range finder is small in size. It's easy to use in any robotics project. And provides excellent non-contact range detection between 2 cm and 400 cm. The accuracy is 3mm. Blind zone is small — 2cm. It operates at 5 volts. So we can connect it directly to Arduino or any other 5V microcontrollers.

(2) JSN SR04T Ultrasonic Range Finder

This ultrasonic sensor module is also 40khz. Its structure is different from hc sr04 module. It is not split type sensor. Module includes integrated ultrasonic transceiver and control circuit. It is waterproof and has stable performance.

The JSN SR04T provides non-contact distance sensing from 20cm-600cm. Ranging accuracy is as high as ±1mm. Its detection range is bigger than the above HC SR04 sensor.

(3) US 100 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor


The US 100 module looks a lot like the HC SR04. Besides, its frequency is also 40KHz. This ultrasonic range finder has a distance of 2cm~450cm. It has a wide voltage input range of 2.4~5.5V. The static power consumption is less than 2mA.

(4) JSN-SR20-Y1 Ultrasonic Ranging Module


The jsn-sr20-y1 ultrasonic range finder module is waterproof. This sensor is highly adaptable to the working environment. It provides 2~500cm non-contact distance sensing function. There are many different output methods.

(5) A02YYUW Dual Ultrasonic Sensor Module


The sensor uses a split type dual probes module. Moreover, there is a waterproof housing outside. The protection class is up to IP67. You can use this ultrasonic distance sensor in different environments. a02yyuw sensor module

This ultrasonic sensor module has many advantages. Firstly, it has a large measuring range. The effective detection range is from 25cm-800cm. It adopts a trumpet design. (7) USSR-L08-V1.0 Underwater Ultrasonic Distance Sensor


This ultrasonic sensor module is different from the above sensors. It is special for underwater ranging and obstacle avoidance. Besides, this ultrasonic range finder can work stably under 10 meters water. The protection class is up to IP68. It allows underwater robots to realize control at will. The detection range is 200 cm.

(8) USSR-A13-V1.0 Multi-purpose Wireless Ultrasonic Sensor Module


This sensor has a range of 200cm and a blind spot of 25cm. It uses ultrasonic sensing technology with reflective structure for distance measurement. Its advantages are high sensitivity and small angle. In addition, there are multiple output modes to choose from, such as UART, RS485, PWM and switch quantity.

(9) USSR-A21-V1.0 Ranging Module


This ultrasonic range finder uses the dual sensor module structure. There is intelligent sound wave processing technology. The intelligent algorithm inside can filter interfering sound waves. (10) USSR-A06-V1.1 Ultrasonic Range Finder


This ranging module has small size. The size is only 4.1*2.8cm. So it does not take up space for customer product design. It is convenient and easy to install. The sensor has temperature compensation function. It automatically corrects temperature deviations. Within -15℃ to +60℃, our ultrasonic sensor can measure distance stably.

(11) USSR-A12- V1.0 Ultrasonic Range Detector

This ultrasonic distance sensor has wide operating voltage ranges. It is from 3.3V to 24V.  The detection angle is smaller than above ranging module. So it has better anti-interference capability. Moreover, this module can be resistant to high and low temperatures. There is with temperature compensation function. So it can work stably within -15℃ and 60℃.

(12) USSR-A16-V1.0 15m Long Range Ultrasonic Sensor Module

Compared to above sensors, this module has much longer detection range. It's up to 1500cm. Of course, the blind zone is also bigger ~ 50cm. Besides the ranging and proximity detection, it is also suitable for level measurement. For example, you can use it to detect level of grain silos. Or you can apply it for water level measurement.

This ultrasonic sensor module has large FOV detection angle range. The max measurement angle is about 60°.  Moreover, its protection class is IP67. And it uses the one-piece ultrasonic transceiver. This ultrasonic sensor module has small measurement angle. The angle is about 15°. It has high sensitivity and anti-interference ability. Our sensor has good accuracy. (17) GY-US42V2 Distance 720cm Ultrasonic Range Finder

This ranging module is with I2C interface. It is plug-and-play and very convenient. GY-US42V2 can replace the MB1242/SRF02 ultrasonic sensor. It is suitable for long distance measurement. The detection range is from 20cm to 720cm. The module has 3 ways to read data, namely UART (TTL level), IIC, and Pulse PWM.

(18)  IoT Wireless LoRaWAN Ultrasonic Distance Sensor

This product is a LoRaWAN distance detection sensor. Its purpose is to measure the distance between the sensor and a flat object. The module uses ultrasonic sensing technology. (19) Ranging 300cm Ultrasonic Range Finder with Display

It is different from the above ultrasonic sensors. This ultrasonic ranging module is with the LED display. So it can show the specific distance data. There are dual transducers on the module. One is transmitter and the other is receiver.  The sensor frequency is 40khz. Its measuring range is from 3cm to 300cm.

(20) Small angle & large range sensor (distance 600cm)

This ultrasonic sensor module uses the integrated transducer. Frequency is 40khz. The probe has waterproof and dustproof protection class to a certain extent. Because of the housing, the sensor has small beam angle. The emitting angle is about 20°.
