Description
The flow velocity measurement of the Doppler flow meter is based on the Doppler effect. The flow sensor emits ultrasonic waves obliquely upward. The ultrasonic waves propagate in the fluid. The fluid may contain impurities such as bubbles or particles (it can be considered that the impurities in the fluid are consistent with the speed of the water flow). When the ultrasonic wave contacts the impurities in the fluid, the reflected ultrasonic wave will produce a Doppler frequency shift Δf. The Doppler frequency shift Δf is proportional to the flow velocity. By measuring the Doppler frequency shift Δf, the flow velocity V (m/s) of the fluid can be measured.
The water level measurement uses a built-in pressure sensor. Measure the distance between the location of the Doppler flow meter and the water surface. And use the built-in temperature sensor to measure the water temperature and then correct the water level.
Then enter the channel parameters. Use the channel parameters and collected water level H (m) to calculate the water flow area S (㎡). The instantaneous flow rate (Q=V*S) is calculated by multiplying the water flow area and the flow velocity V (m/s). The cumulative flow rate is calculated by multiplying the flow rate by the cumulative time.
The product shell adopts an ABS integrated shell, which can effectively waterproof and seal. It is especially suitable for low water level occasions. It can be measured normally when the water level exceeds 5 cm.
